Eligibility Criteria:
UTIP online candidates must:
- Enroll in an undergraduate program, an integrated bachelor’s and master’s program, or a masters program at a university outside of Japan.
- Enroll in Natural Sciences or related careers.
- Think about achieving long-term career goals in science.
- Plan to commit for the duration of the program.
UTRIP Internship Requirements:

By enrolling in the UTRIP online program, students must agree to meet the following requirements:
- Have a secure internet connection for remote research and interactive online chat.
- Participate in the project for the duration of the program.
- Participate in all educational programs included in the UTRIP online program.
- Submit written investigation reports within the deadline.
- Give an oral presentation on the appointed day.
Documents Required:
Submit a scanned copy of the official college transcripts. A transcript must include:
- Your name
- College name
- Year of income
- List of completed courses (must include course titles, grades and credits).
