Durham University Scholarships

Durham Palestine Educational Trust Scholarship

A distinguished scholarship, the Durham Palestine Educational Trust (DPET) Scholarship is intended to assist Palestinian students attending Durham University for postgraduate work. Through the opportunity to pursue further education and skills that would enable them to subsequently contribute to the development of their communities, this scholarship seeks to empower Palestinian students. International Scholarships

Durham is happy to announce that it will be providing a variety of new international scholarships to students intending to begin undergraduate or taught postgraduate courses in 2024 from Bangladesh, India, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Vietnam. To qualify for this tuition fee discount, applicants must be fully self-funding and only pay overseas fees.

Eligibility

Applicants must fulfill the following requirements to be eligible for one of the Durham University International Scholarships for Undergraduate or Postgraduate Teaching (tuition fee savings):

  • Finish the relevant program’s application process.
  • receive a conditional offer.
  • Accept the offer before the deadline.

A separate application is not necessary. An applicant will be immediately considered for a scholarship after they receive an offer of a place; there is no need to submit another application.

A prestigious scholarship, the Rise Scholarship is intended to assist deserving individuals in achieving their academic and career objectives. Every year, the Said Foundation grants twenty postgraduate scholarships to deserving candidates from Syria, Palestine, Lebanon, and Jordan who exhibit the ability to lead and innovate social change.

The UK government’s international scholarship program, known as Chevening Scholarships, is supported by partner organizations and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO). The program offers scholarships to deserving students from all over the world who exhibit leadership potential to pursue postgraduate studies at UK universities. The University is accepting applications for ten Partnership Awards in addition to the Open Awards from all nations that qualify for Chevening funding.

Eligibility

Candidates must hold citizenship from a Chevening-eligible country and commit to returning to their home country for at least two years following the completion of their Chevening Award.
