General Eligibility for Global Excellence Scholarship University of Western Australia:
Students from all countries can apply for the Global Excellence Scholarship University of Western Australia.
To apply for the Global Excellence Scholarship, the candidates should:
- have been offered an undergraduate or postgraduate course at The University of Western Australia.
- have achieved the equivalent of:
- a minimum ATAR of 85.00; or
- minimum 65.00 WAM
- Students must achieve a WAM equivalent of more than 75.00 if studying on an approved international academic pathway (articulation program)

Bachelor’s Eligibility
To be considered for the Global Excellence Scholarship, a candidate must be applying for an eligible undergraduate degree or Assured Pathway course. The following exceptions apply:
- A guaranteed path to medicine
- Guaranteed trip to the pharmacy
- A guaranteed way to dentistry
Note:- The combined courses: Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) and Bachelor of Commerce; and Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) and Bachelor of Science; are over 5 years (based on 10 semesters of full-time study) and as such eligible students will receive up to $60,000* over 5 years (annual eligible amounts based on WAM).
Postgraduate Eligibility
To be eligible for the scholarship, a candidate must be applying for an eligible postgraduate degree (by course). The following exceptions apply:
