1. AIT Scholarships for International Students

Candidates for the Master’s and PhD programs at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand have the chance to be considered for substantial academic scholarships. Benefits of the AIT Scholarships

AIT Scholarships are a type of financial help that gives qualified students from around the globe the chance to attend AIT and study together. It assists in partially subsidizing the cost of education by paying Full or a portion of the tuition for eligible students; the remaining tuition, registration fees (20,000 Baht per semester to retain student status), and living expenses (roughly eleven thousand to 15,000 Baht per month) are the student’s responsibility. Grants for AIT Scholarships are only available once prior to enrollment and are not refundable for the duration of the study term.

Eligibility Criteria

The following is the eligibility criteria to apply for AIT scholarships:

  • All nationalities;
  • Fulfilling the English Proficiency Requirement set by AIT (i.e., obtaining an IELTS Academic or AIT EET score of 5.0 or higher for Master’s programs and 5.5 for PhD programs);
  • Having completed a four-year Bachelor’s program at an accredited university;
  • A master’s degree from an accredited university is required for Ph.D. applicants, as is a cumulative GPA of 3.50 for master’s degree holders and 2.75 for undergraduates from prestigious universities.

The deadline to apply for the AIT scholarships is July 20, 2024.

2. Alumni Scholarship Fund

The Alumni Scholarship Fund will support deserving Masters students with financial difficulties with scholarships. Three schools will split the entire cash raised: the School of Engineering and Technology (SET), the School of Environment, Resources & Development (SERD), and the School of Management (SOM).

Criteria

  1. Any nationality
  2. Any course offered by the Engineering and Technology School (SET).
  3. The candidate must have at least a 2.75 cumulative GPA.
  4. The candidate must receive a 6.0 on the IELTS Academic or a 6.0 on the AIT EET.
  5. The applicant needs to meet the requirements for AIT Admissions Entry.

The deadline is June 10, 2024, for the August 2024 intake.

3. AAPICO Public Company Limited Master’s Scholarship with Job Offer

This scholarship is for students enrolled in the Department of Industrial Systems Engineering (ISE), Department of Information Communications and Technologies (preferably in programs related to data science and artificial intelligence or the Internet of Things), or School of Management’s Business Analytic & Digital Transformation program at the School of Engineering & Technology (SET).

Criteria

  • Any country
  • Bachelor’s degree holder with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75
  • Need for English Proficiency: IELTS-Academic: 6 or AIT-English Entry Test (AIT-EET): 6 (writing 6)
  • The applicant needs to meet the requirements for AIT entry.
  • The applicant’s cGPA must remain at 3.25 or better during their studies in order to be eligible for the AAPICO Scholarship.
  • The AAPICO company should see value in the research and thesis topics chosen by the students.
  • The grantee will be given preference for jobs at AAPICO after graduation for a minimum of two terms equal to the length of time they studied under the scholarship.

The deadline is June 1, 2024, for the spring semester (August 2024 intake).
