Benefits of Routledge-Round Table Commonwealth Studentships

Routledge-Round Table Commonwealth Studentships Eligibility

Interested candidates must fulfill the following requirements in order to be considered for the Commonwealth Scholarships in 2023:

  • Studies pertaining to science and health policies are encouraged, however, applications in the pure sciences and medicine will not be taken into consideration.
  • The first studentship is available to enrolled PhD students from UK universities, albeit they need not be residents.
  • The second is accessible to enrolled PhD candidates from ACU member institutions in Commonwealth nations other than the United Kingdom, as well as to former Chevening and Commonwealth Scholarship recipients who are now pursuing their PhDs at any Commonwealth institution outside of the United Kingdom.
  • Must hold applicable bachelor’s and master’s degrees from an accredited higher education institution.
  • Candidates must exhibit outstanding academic and research skills.

  • A curriculum vitae (CV)
  • A schedule for your student position that details:
    • The non-technical description of the job you want to do during your studentship.
    • Your studentship’s potential effects, as well as how they will increase knowledge in your profession and contribute to a better understanding of the Commonwealth.
    • the studentship’s intended results and outputs.
  • Two letters of recommendation, one from an academic (ideally your PhD/DPhil supervisor) and one from a private source.
