A private university in Milan, Italy, Bocconi University, also known as Università Bocconi (formerly known in Italian as Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi – Luigi Bocconi Commercial University), was established in 1965. Benefits of the ISU Bocconi Scholarship

The following are the benefits of the ISU Bocconi Scholarship:

  • Following the Resolution of the Regional Council of the Lombardy Region, which is anticipated to be published between June and July 2024, the amounts of the cash stipend for the fiscal year 2024–2025 will be made public.
  • The total value of the free meals, which will be provided by December 2024 to all qualified students, is € 770,00*. The amount of complimentary meals is cut in half for fuori corso students who receive the ISU Bocconi Scholarship.
  • By the end of December 2024, all qualified students will have their regional tax for the Right to University Education reimbursed. This refund will be included in the reimbursement of the first installment advance for the academic year 2024–2025.

ISU-eligible students, both recipients and non-recipients, are also eligible for full exemption from Bocconi University tuition and fees (first-year fuori corso students will have a 50% exemption from tuition and fees), as well as full exemption from paying the regional tax and registration fee.

Criteria

The ISU Bocconi Scholarship’s particular eligibility requirements may change based on the year and any revisions from Bocconi University. Generally speaking, though, the following are eligible for the ISU Bocconi Scholarship:

Enrollment requirements

Regular students: those who are enrolled for the first time (absolute first year of enrollment) in a regular year of a PhD program, Master of Science, Integrated Master of Arts in Law, or Bachelor of Science program; this also applies to those who are not the recipients of a scholarship under Italian Law 449 of 27.12.1997 or Italian DM 224/1999.

It is stated that students enrolled in a PhD program for the academic year 2024–2025 must either have been duly admitted for the academic year 2024–2025 to attend a year of PhD program following the first, or they must have been declared winners for the academic year 2024–2025 of the admission competition to one of the PhD programs activated at Bocconi University.

Fuori corso” students: those who entered in the first year of the program after the conclusion of the standard Bachelor of Science, Integrated Master of Arts in Law, or Master of Science program for the first time (absolute first year of enrollment).

Economic Requirements

The Lombardy Region defines the ISEE/ISEEU parificato and ISPE/ISPEU parificato values every year with a resolution of its own. The following values have been established by the Lombardy Region for the fiscal year 2023–2024:

  • Parificato ISEE/ISEEU no superior a € 24.335,11
  • Parificato ISPE/ISPEU no superior a € 52.902,43

The values for the academic year 2024–2025 will be accessible following the publication of the Lombardy Region’s Regional Council Resolution, which is anticipated to happen in June or July of 2024.

  • Financial statement form
  • Resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV): a thorough curriculum vitae or resume outlining the applicant’s training, professional history, extracurricular involvement, honors, and accomplishments.
  • Academic Transcripts: Formal records of academic performance from all prior educational institutions attended, often known as official transcripts.
